Skills Building and Training for Broadcasters

AFRRI will offer selected stations opportunities for improving skills and capacity to plan, develop and implement programming, with and for rural communities in all AFRRI countries. An assessment of the opportunities and needs of AFRRI broadcasters will serve as the basis for designing a training program for AFRRI broadcasters. A list of competencies in the areas of programming in agriculture and food security, production and broadcasting, managing stations for rural listeners and participatory communication methods will be identified and used as a reference for assessing the training needs of AFRRI broadcasters.
