Publications
Information packages are published quarterly by Farm Radio International in English and French. Each package focuses on a different theme, i.e., Nutrition and health, Indigenous knowledge, Women in agriculture, Livestock, and includes scripts for radio written in a variety of formats (interview, drama, spots, etc.) and the Voices newsletter.
Scripts also include tips for broadcasters on presenting the information and adapting it for their own listening audience. Voices provides information and resources related to each package theme, includes broadcaster training articles, and offers a forum for partners to share experiences and lessons learned. Packages are available free in print version to participating Network radio partners who have a demonstrated audience in farming communities of developing countries. Organizations and individuals working in rural development may subscribe to an electronic copy (free).
